Hi all, I'm back. I realised this morning it’s been a month since I
blogged and you've all been clamouring to find out what I have been up to since
then!!! Okay maybe a handful of you... okay 1 of you... okay nobody has
:-(. Still here I am ready to post again
Since last I posted work has continued on as normal, if with a bit of drama,
that saw my company in the news and not for good reasons, though it was really
smoke without fire and nothing came of it. Still I did somehow end up
getting a longer weekend out of it as I was sent home one of the Thursdays,
honestly the whole week had been weird and I certainly needed the drink.
Apart from that work is pretty busy so it’s keep me occupied and I am putting
in extra hours to make a little bit more money towards my upcoming holiday in
just over 3 weeks.
Socially I'm getting out and about, though for the last week been trying to
stay at home as actually have come down with a touch of Bronchitis and since
I'm taking antibiotics for it, not a lot of drinking to be done, still I've
gotten out and about to see friends and have some fun, so it’s not all
bad. I've even left Tel Aviv for a weekend which is a change as I went to
visit my friends Melissa and Derek in their new apartment in Beersheva which is
the largest City in the Negev Desert of Southern Israel and is often referred
to as the capital of the Negev. It was very nice to go there and I definitely
would like to go back and explore more of the area. I think that is
something I should do more of and that is explore this country that I now call
home.
Otherwise nothing much to tell, still keeping up with the Football back
home, hoping that the weekend I get to London I will get to see Hull City in
the FA Cup Semi Final in person, when I bought the ticket to go to London that
weekend, it hadn't even occurred to me that it was the Semi Finals that weekend
or that City would be there. I'm hoping its fate that means I must be at
this game. Also spent time in one of the local government offices getting
my first Israeli Passport, currently sits in the Post Office waiting for me to
pick it up.
So that’s all for now, I hope to hear comments, questions from all of
you. Be Well.

Update
Hello everyone, once again I'm here to hopefully brighten your day with what
I have been up too. Though to be honest there isn't much going on lately.
Work continues on, it doesn't really change, though we have very shocking poor Internet which always seems to go out for a time every other day at the moment, which doesn't help me work. Still what's work without a little bit of annoyance. Otherwise all is good, the Owner has been away all month, and so it been a bit more busy than usual for me as some of the tasks I don't normally do I've ended up doing.
Socially wise been pretty good few weeks, managed to get out and have some fun over the weekends, even been to the beach for a few hours. So that's all good. Hoping it will continue to be as good in the next few weekends.
So that's it brief I know, but sure next time I will have more to tell you, hope to hear from you all

Nothing to report
Well it’s been nearly a month since I posted, I'm sure most of you have been
eagerly awaiting my latest blog post and eager to know what I have been up too...
well nothing much really.
Been working hard, but nothing much really to report, just the same old stuff at work. Busy but not so exciting, so I think it’s time to find a new challenge and a more exciting work environment. Socially, I think I have had a quiet month really, been out with friends and done various things, but nothing much exciting, made a few new friends and actually gone somewhere new when I went to visit a friend and gone to Ra'anana which after all this time I've never actually been, hopefully next time I will have more time to look around. What else went through to Haifa twice this month, once to meet up with a friend from Ulpan and catch up in person, even though we text often. Also went to meet a new friend.
Also if you've seen my Twitter post on Facebook, I am going to attempt Yoga... yep try something new... please don't laugh. The way I see it, I've spent a while recently feeling like I'm not getting out there, maybe it’s time to try new things, step out of my comfort zone again like I did when I came to Israel. So hopefully Wednesday alongside a friend I'll try Yoga, it should be an interesting time. Will update people on it :-).
Otherwise not much to report, 10 weeks to my holiday in England, but otherwise it’s all pretty much business as usual. Hope to hear from you all and you have a good weekend and a week ahead

Blog Review of the Year 2013
Well it’s been a few weeks since I posted, but as I promised on my Facebook
page, here it is Adam's review of his 2013.
The year did not start well for me in terms of work, having left the Paralegal position, I found myself back searching for work which is never an easy task, still I persevered and l had several interviews, sadly nothing came of them and after several months of hunting for a job I did become to get very down and depressed, I know that my friends stuck by me when I was feeling down and posting stuff on Facebook, so I appreciate that. Still I continued to plug away and then at the end of April I got a temporary contract with a firm in Tel Aviv for an 8 week role in their firm. So suddenly there was light at the end of the tunnel for me and I felt better about things, even if I knew it was only temporary. The job was working with computers so it was fun and I even had an extra week which I got to test a game for the company, now if only it had been with real money and they had let me kept my winnings hehe. Anyway after that, I was out of work again for only a few weeks this time fortunately and this job after a few months trial period became permanent and I've been there ever since. The job isn't exciting, but I after so many short term jobs it’s good to have something that is stable.
I spent the year in 3 apartments here in Israel, I started the year in Rishon until the beginning of April where I finally moved into Tel Aviv, which was a pretty stressful experience in searching for a place to live as well as searching for work, fortunately I found somewhere for a 6 month period close to the beach, so when I wasn't working or searching for work I went to sit and read by the beach and watch the world go by. After that as my 6 months drew to a close I knew I wanted to move, but it was the daunting task of finding a place. Fortunately my friend Kylie had a solution which benefited both of us and since the beginning of October I've been sharing with her and more recently a 3 month old puppy called Kiki. After this I'm not sure where I will go, I am considering living by myself or if not I have to live with just one person as I don't like living with too many people.
Socially wise the year has been okay for me, my social life which was pretty non-existent for the 1st 4 months of the year did kick into high gear after moving to Tel Aviv as I was closer to friends and made new friends, so I managed to get out more than I had done in Rishon which was good, been to events and hung out with friends by the beach and the port and in bars, managed to do a lot of fun things. Had a bit of a slump recently, but hoping that this year will bring more social stuff and more opportunities to meet people and make friends. Love Life wise I've had plenty of dates but no success, as people keep telling me when I've felt like giving up on meeting 'her' I shouldn't worry, she is out there, I just have to find her.
General the year has had highs and lows, biggest low was the worry and stress of finding somewhere to live/job at the beginning of the year, it was very stressful in general and I was deeply worried that I might have to head back to England. However I persevered and I'm still here. The biggest high of the year was being on Television here in Israel discussing Aliyah and how hard it was, was very fun to do and even got recognised after the programme aired so that is amazing.
Almost forgot, big Mazal Tov to all my friends and family even who got married in 2013
Well that's it for my review, hope you enjoy reading and have enjoyed reading my thoughts, hope you'll continue to read and hope you all have a great 2014.

Chanukah and busy
Well it’s been a couple of weeks since I posted, which is pretty bad when I
used to post every day, but lately there has not been much to report.
I've been working had as always, been a bit weird the last week of work as with it being Thanksgiving in the states it was quiet for a few days at the end of last week and the 1st few days of this past week were also quiet. Still it’s nice to have a quiet time at work; I've been able to do some catch-up work on the data entry aspect of my job. Also it’s been the Festival of Chanukah the last week which has meant Doughnuts hehe and a lot of them (so much for my diet). The owner of my company has for every night of Chanukah that we were in work, arranged a Candle Lighting and some Doughnuts and biscuits for us all to enjoy. So it’s nice diversion from work.
Apart from work going well, I've been busy seeing and spending time with friends so it’s nice that I'm getting out and about again after a couple of months where I seemed to be just spending my days going to work and home again. Also gotten myself a new room-mate as my other room-mate has got herself a puppy. Now as people probably know I'm not a dog person, never had pets growing up and my only real experience is having moved into places with people who already had dogs or cats. Still I've enjoyed the first week and as you can see below, who couldn't love this one as she is so adorable.
So apart from that, all is going well, hope to hear from you soon, please leave any comments and thoughts.
